Euere as heF.7.90: Alpha is responsible for "Euere as he." Beta manuscripts have And. loondiþF.7.90: loondiþ is a nonce-word, apparently meaning "come into possession of land." Cf. OE (ge)landod and MED, s. v. londed ppl. adj. (1). The change began with a homeographic error in which <r> and <n> were confused. Bx reads "And lordeþ in londes ...." of londe / þe lasse good he deliþ.
