But þe knyghtF.9.405: Though alpha is responsible for the omission of þat before trespased, F alone among B witnesses substitutes þe knyght for truþe. trespased neuere / ne tranuersydtran[s]uersydF.9.405: CrLR also read transuersed, a reading appearing in numerous C manuscripts.
